What a fantastic link! Thanks again Tim! That was a very good overview and nice to see Paul getting some ink. Cool…lean…precision timing…he is the reason I think the bass is the coolest instrument and want to play it just like him. He was always so suave and in unison with his instrument, and still is the last I saw of him with TGTB&TQ. Would be grand to see him grace the stage sometime soon.

“A band that made you feel capable of coping with the shit of daily life and fighting for something (anything) that you believed in.” That’s a beautiful, statement there, Tim. I feel very fortunate to count myself as one of the scads of fans who have been inspired and touched by the Clash in this way. It also amazes me the amount of great people I’ve met through the years because of being a fan. The ability to bring like-minded people together who otherwise would have never met is hugely powerful, I think.
