Mick Jones Rock n Roll Public Library – brief film

31 August 2009 Under: Mick Jones, Videos

This appeared on you tube and is worthy of 5 minutes of your time. It’s  actually produced includes interviews and provides a great look behind the scenes at the Mick Jones Rock and Roll Public Library. Some good stories and video for the exhibition that closed just over a week ago. Let’s hope it finds a permanent home soon. I’m still seeking Notting Hill Carnival footage -- stay tuned.

Nice one Tim. Ade Sabini who is featured in the video is the friend who allowed me access to shoot some of my images there. Desmond was also very friendly and helpful too. I’ve got much more to show and will send some Rotten Hill Gang images later from the Strummerville event which I hope you’ll be able to post

Tim Comments: Thanks Pete – Ade did a brilliant job. Did they track attendance for the exhibition? I read somewhere on Aug 10th that it passed 7,000. Photos – of course – always glad to post.

On the way as I write. Just picking up my Telecaster to annoy our new kitten. The attendance was great from speaking to Ade and Desmond. Even Jimmy Page visited one weekend !
