Mick Jones images from the Jail Guitar Doors Benefit
I usually talk/write too much so here is a nice change for you. Peter Stevens has kindly shared some more of his great photography of Mick Jones both on and off stage from the Jail Guitar Doors event on Sunday.

Don’t you just love that geezer?
Tim, this is a great site. The Jail Guitar Doors benefit was something else! Jonesy got up with Night Of Treason to perform a sparky version of I Fought The Law, then he did his stuff with the Rotten Hill Gang (who were a revelation that night, really euphoric and funky), then picked the winner of the raffle to win the acoustic “Jail Guitar Doors” guitar that he’s playing in the picture above, then did a grand finale of Jail Guitar Doors with Billy Bragg and Night Of Treason. That’s my pork pie hat you can see behind Billy and Mick in the live shot elsewhere on the site. The Jail Guitar Doors initiative is a really powerful and original way of looking at the problem of prison rehabilitation in the UK, and I hope people try to find out more about it and support it. Cheers, Pat
