Joe Strummer Mural Part 2 – In Lima?
Hello – Monday and such eh… You’re probably (hopefully) fully aware of the Joe Strummer mural in New York City? If not check this link when I featured it last Summer. In the meantime a long way South it looks like another rendition of the piece of art has popped up!
The chap who says this was commissioned for his property in Lima, Peru wrote to me a few weeks ago to share the link to the creation of the mural. I wrote back at the time asking when it was done, what part of the city and such but didn’t receive a reply. Nevertheless I liked it a lot and was left smiling at the thought of Lima having a wall adorned with Joe – maybe it can become a global trend. As I can’t furnish much more information for you – I can share the video and hope the creator/owner writes back soon.

This is in the roof of a 6 floor building at Chorrillos, Lima – Peru. The artist is a top Peruvian one and very friend of mine, Mako Moya aka. Mako.
